Wolf's Words
"This was a really hard-fought game. They are very physical and direct in how they go about the game. Our guys had to grind really hard, and they did a really, really good job getting a positive result."
Â
"Playing with the lead is such a better thing in this game. We were guilty of conceding early against Cal State LA, so to come out and score first was huge for us."
Â
"This just turned into a massive weekend for us. If we want to be a regional player, we have to go find a result this weekend. Opening weekend didn't start things out the way I would have liked, but you can make up for it in a hurry if we can get another result."
Â
"This is a classic CCAA road trip, with Chico State and Sonoma State on the schedule. Both teams came down and played us at our place so we are returning the matches. It is definitely a tough trip, but we are off to a good start."
