SAN DIEGO – Four Sea Lions scored in double-figures to lead the No. 24 ranked Point Loma men's basketball team to a 75-56 victory over Notre Dame de Namur on Monday, Dec. 31.
Ziggy Satterthwaite registered a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds. He went 5-of-8 from the field and also matched a career-high with five assists as Point Loma assisted on 17 of its 25 baskets.
Daulton Hommes paced PLNU with 16 points.
Preston Beverly scored 14 points on 7-of-9 shooting and grabbed seven rebounds on his birthday.
Tanner Nelson knocked down four 3-pointers to post a season-high 13 points, and point guard
Josh Rodriguez added eight points and five assists. Chazz Wade had a game-high 22 points to pace the Argonauts.
Point Loma started the game on fire. It hit its first four shots and built a 16-4 lead just minutes into the game. The Sea Lions would lead by 10 at the half (35-25) and by as many as 20 in the second half.

PacWest Implications
The win allowed Point Loma to keep pace with Concordia in the PacWest standings as both teams are currently 7-0 in PacWest play. NDNU is still searching for its first win in conference play (0-6 PacWest).
The Turning Point
Point Loma went up 16-4 to start the contest but held just a 10-point lead at the half (35-25). PLNU would put the game away with a 12-4 run to start the second half, and NDNU would never get the deficit into single digits.
