SAN DIEGO - When the Point Loma men's basketball team stayed at No. 6 in the latest NCAA West Region poll, which was released on Wednesday, Feb. 21.
 
The Sea Lions are 21-7 on the season and 15-4 in the PacWest. They are pacing the country in rebound margin (+12.9) and are seventh in scoring defense (63.7).
 
PLNU is one of four PacWest teams occupying the top 10 spots in the west region poll. California Baptist is No. 2, with Dixie State at No. 4 and Azusa Pacific at No. 10. Western Oregon sits atop the NCAA West Region poll at 24-1. To see the complete regional poll, click here.
 
The PLNU men's basketball team will close out the 2017-18 regular season on Saturday, Feb. 24 against Dixie State at 4 p.m., as they say goodbye to their two seniors.
 
The event will also be part of Trailbuster Weekend as the Sea Lions try to build momentum going into the postseason. During halftime of the men's game, fans will have a chance to win up to $1000 as $1 for every fan in attendance will be added to a prize pool. Fans will then have a chance to come down and throw their paper airplane at halftime for a chance to win the money.
