SAN DIEGO – After a victorious effort over a DI program on Saturday to open their season the women's tennis team headed to San Diego State to face an Aztec team with only one loss on the season. The Sea Lions would be unable to recreate their efforts from Saturday as they were overmatched from top to bottom against the Aztecs.
 
The Sea Lions went with the same lineup as they used on Saturday but were unable to find success against any of the SDSU players. Shelby Groeneveld was the lone PLNU player to push her singles match to three sets, ultimately falling 10-5 in the deciding set.
