LA MIRADA, Calif. - Have a day Indiana Fuller! The senior midfielder did not start, but came off the bench to record his first career hat-trick  and lead the Point Loma men's soccer team to a 4-0 victory in a non-conference contest over Biola. (Sept. 19)
 
Finn Tiedemann got the scoring started for Point Loma in just the second minute of the match. Pascal Rodriguez found Tiedemann open on a long pass and Tiedemann was able to get a touch on it and poke it past the keeper for the goal.
 
It was then the Indiana Fuller's turn to take over. He scored his first goal of the day on a penalty kick in the 42nd minute. Ninety-two second later, he posted his second goal of the match on a cross from Paul Sweet to put PLNU up 3-0 at the half. Fuller finished off his hat-trick after another great pass put him in perfect position. Andrew Kleszewski crossed the ball in from close to the endline and Fuller was able to sprint in front of the net and finish point blank for his first career hat-trick.

On the complete team effort: "This was the performance I've been waiting for. We were in total control. It was a very good performance."
 
On Indiana Fuller's performance: "He got to some great spots and he had a great performance."
 
On the defense/shutout: "That is the stat count I've really wanted. I believe this team can be a 2:1 or a 3:1 ratio of goals in favor-type of team, but so far we have not done that. Hopefully this sir the start of a new season for us in which we can put some more performances together."
 
On Saturday's upcoming match: "For the past two weeks we have known that Saturday's game would be massive for us. We have built a little momentum and are feeling good about ourselves right now. We have to start the conference season as bright as we possibly can. Saturday will be a big game for us."
