SAN DIEGO - The Point Loma volleyball team has not dropped a set in over two weeks. Today, the Sea Lions ran their winning streak to four matches with a three-set sweep of Holy Names in Golden Gym. (Oct. 16)

Three freshmen led the offense.
Grace Hicks moved from the middle to the right side last week, and today she posted a career-high with 12 kills to lead the Sea Lions.
Claire Smith, who also recently moved positions, posted six kills in just 12 swings.
Torina Hommes added eight kills, as the freshmen trio combined for 26 of the Sea Lions' 44 kills. Â
Madie Fox also chipped in with six kills and
Cara Keturakis had 35 assists.
Courtney Dyer paced the team with 22 digs and
Tate Duane had four blocks.

The win keeps PLNU into a tie with Hawaii Hilo and Hawaii Pacific for third place in the PacWest standings. Chaminade (9-0) and Azusa Pacific (7-0) remain in first and second, respectively. The loss keeps HNU at the bottom of the conference standings.
