Torina Hommes each posted 10 kills, and
Madie Fox chipped in with nine kills of her own as the Point Loma volleyball team earned a three-set sweep over Fresno Pacific on Senior Day. (Nov. 23)

The Sea Lions hit .308 in the first set to cruise to the 25-16 win. They got even better in the second set when they hit .481 with 16 kills and just three errors. In the third set, PLNU struggled with its accuracy and trailed for the first time all match, but still found a way to win the set and complete the sweep.

Point Loma finished the contest hitting .242 while holding FPU to a .102 hitting percentage. Cymbaluk helped lead the efficient attack as she had just one error in 23 swings.

Keturakis posted 33 assists, 16 digs and three kills in her last match in Golden Gym. Fellow senior
Flavia Virgili added a match-best 20 digs, and
Grace Hicks came through with five service aces.

PacWest Implications
The win locks PLNU into a tie for fourth place in the final 2019 PacWest standings. The Sea Lions finished at 15-7 and tied Hawaii Pacific for fourth place. FPU went 5-17 in league and finished in ninth.
