SAN DIEGO - For the second straight Saturday, the Point Loma volleyball team made quick work of an opponent from the Bay Area as they swept Academy of Art in 71 minutes.
Jaime Cymbaluk was the only student-athlete to hit double-figures in kills in the three-set match.
Grace Hicks hit an incredible .800 as she put down eight kills without an error in 10 attempts.
Madie Fox added seven kills, and the birthday girl Tornia Hommes chipped in with six.
Courtney Dyer posted a match-best 15 digs, and
Cara Keturakis dished out 32 assists.

The victory keeps PLNU within three games of first-place Azusa Pacific (15-2 PacWest) with five to play. Point Loma is currently in fifth place in the PacWest. Even with the loss, ART U remains in eighth place.
