SAN DIEGO - The Point Loma women's volleyball team looked dominant as it swept in-regional rival, Cal State East Bay, in its season opener.

Freshman
Alexis Soncrant led the Sea Lions with 12 kills, and an incredible .458 hitting percentage (24 swings).
Jaime Cymbaluk added 10 kills and
Grace Hicks chipped in with seven kills and a team-leading four blocks.
Cara Keturakis racked 33 assists, five digs and four kills in the three sets.
Courtney Dyer paced the Sea Lions with a match-high 14 digs.

The Sea Lions also dominated on the serve, posting 8-2 advantage over the Pioneers. PLNU also won the hitting battle .267 to .218. Jasmyne Love led CSUEB with eight kills.
