Words from coach Matt Logie
On Kaden Anderson: "Kaden was fantastic tonight. It was great to see him be so aggressive offensively. He was able to get his body right over the break, after being sick earlier in the year, and he came out and played like he did early in the season. We know what he is capable of and he demonstrated that tonight."
On how PLNU shot .619 percent: "Our guys really did a nice job of executing offensively and sharing the basketball. It led to high-percentage shots for us. For the game, we were 33-of-46 on 2-point shots so we were able to play inside-out and give our guys some confidence that way."
On the Sea Lions' bench play: "Our bench was terrific tonight. Ben (Okhotin) gave us some great energy and hustle plays, in addition to getting his offense going. The offensive rebounds and the defensive plays he made were a big boost to us that first half.
Peter Hewitt was also very solid in his minutes, as was Josh (Caston) and Noah (Stapes). It was great to get that production off the bench tonight."
On staying focused the rest of the trip: "Our guys are really excited to be playing again. We had two weeks off and we are energized and we are in a good place as a group. We just have to build off tonight and capitalize on the momentum we built."
