SAN DIEGO - The Point Loma volleyball completed its season in style with a five-set victory over Concordia, 25-20, 16-25, 25-20, 22-25, and 15-10. This gives the Sea Lions back-to-back, five-set wins to close out the 2020-21 season.

Freshman
Bailey Williams had a career-best match on Wednesday, recording 17 kills and 17 digs for her first career double-double. She had just five errors and hit .261 in the match. The 17 kills are a match-best for any Sea Lion this season. She was not alone, however, as she received help from up and down the lineup.

Rachael Schlect and
Anna Massari each put down 11 kills.
Madie Fox had eight kills and matched
Claire Smith with five blocks.
Tate Duane posted six kills on nine swings, without an error for a .667 hitting percentage, while also notching three blocks. Smith added seven kills, 19 digs, and 41 assists to go along with her five blocks.
Courtney Dyer chipped in with a match-best 23 digs.

After winning the first set while hitting .349 in the first set with 19 kills and just four errors, the Sea Lions dropped the second and fourth sets as the match got pushed to the decisive fifth set. The set was tied at 7-7 when the Sea Lions put together a 6-1 run, during which they had an ace and five kills to take a commanding 13-8 lead. The teams then exchanged points until a kill by
Anna Massari finished off the set, the match, and the season for the Sea Lions.
