Anna Massari had 12 kills and just one error to help send the Point Loma volleyball team to a sweep Cal State San Marcos and their third straight victory heading into PacWest play. (Sept. 11)

Massari was dominant in the middle to set the tone for the Sea Lions. The freshman posted a very impressive .550 hitting percentage while slamming down those 12 kills in just three sets. She now leads the PacWest with a .392 hitting percentage. Â
Madie Fox,
Alexis Soncrant, and
Torina Hommes added six kills apiece.
Lauren Phillips dished out 30 assists and
Courtney Dyer had 20 digs. Jessica Thomas had 11 kills to lead the Cougars.

After dropping the first match of the tournament in five sets and going down 0-2 against Westminster, the Sea Lions caught fire. PLNU has won three straight matches without dropping a set while outscoring their opponents 215-175 during this stretch.
