In the Sea Lions' blistering second quarter, during which Point Loma outscored Master's 33-15, Carreon was a perfect 5-for-5 from behind the arc.

As a team, PLNU shot 72.2% in the second period to develop a 44-28 halftime advantage, which the Sea Lions managed the rest of the way.

Haylee Saurette (16 points, seven rebounds) and
Ellie Turk (13 points) joined Carreon in double figures, while Carreon and
Grace Moawad both dished out a team-high six assists.

Point Loma, picked to finish fifth in the PacWest Preseason Poll, officially opens up its season this week with a pair of games at the PacWest/CCAA Conference Challenge in San Bernardino.
