LA MIRADA, Calif.-Amanda Letzring continued her strong season but the Point Loma Sea Lions (6-4 overall) fell 6-1 to the Biola Eagles (8-1 overall) Saturday afternoon at the Biola Tennis Center.

Letzring improved her singles record to 7-3 in the number 5 spot including her fourth win in her last four matches.

Point Loma dropped the doubles point galling 6-0 on court 3 and 6-3 in the #1 matchup while Angelique Friedrich and Samantha Neilson battled to a 4-3 match, remaining unfinished.

Biola took first four singles matches by the time Letzring earned her straight-sets victory.

Arianna Audelo took her opening set 6-4 but fell on the first flight 6-3, 6-4 over the final two sets.

Point Loma will be in Irvine on Tuesday, taking on Concordia at 3:00pm.
