PLNU AND WWU PLAY TO SCORELESS DRAW

PLNU Men's Soccer extended its unbeaten streak to three matches on Saturday night, concluding its Pacific Northwest trip with a 0-0 draw at No. 23 Western Washington.

It was goals galore in Point Loma's matchup with Seattle Pacific on Thursday in a 3-3 affair, but neither side was able to find the back of the net on Saturday.

Parker Scalzo, Samuel Tuscano and Marlon Buck all forced saves out of the opposing goalkeeper, while Seth Ketterer (five saves) and the Sea Lion defense kept their second shutout in the past three matches.

Point Loma (1-3-2) return to PLNU Soccer Field on Wednesday for a non-conference matchup with PacWest opponent Concordia University Irvine at 3:30 p.m. The Sea Lions will then conclude their non-conference schedule at Azusa Pacific on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
