SEA LIONS TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS IN IRVINE

(IRVINE, Calif.) No. 21 PLNU Men's Basketball took care of business on Saturday night, cruising to a 73-55 road win over Concordia to take another step toward a second-straight PacWest regular season title.

Point Loma never trailed, with the game only tied for a combined 26 seconds, with the Sea Lions taking an eight-point halftime lead.

PLNU then quickly doubled its advantage just over three minutes into the second half after Shamrock Campbell's 3-pointer.

From there, the Golden Eagles didn't get closer than 13 the rest of the way, as the Sea Lions led by as many as 22 in the second half before winning by a final margin of 18.

Kaden Anderson (20 points, nine rebounds), Brian Goracke (17 points, five rebounds) and Campbell (12 points) all scored in double figures for PLNU, which held its opponents to under 60 points for the eighth time this season.

The victory is the 12th in-a-row for Point Loma (16-3 overall, 11-0 PacWest) and increases PLNU's lead atop the PacWest standings to three games over second-placed Azusa Pacific (12-4, 7-2).

The Sea Lions continue their three-game road trip next week with a pair of games up north, beginning on Thursday at Dominican. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
