(SAN DIEGO) No. 21 PLNU Men's Tennis was named the PacWest Team of the Week and showed just why on Monday afternoon in a 7-0 win over Fresno Pacific.
 
The Sea Lions took care of doubles, with Nabeel Khan/Alejandro Castaneda cruising to a 6-1 victory at No. 3 and Tyler Davis and Alexander Leischner teaming up to win 6-2 at No. 1 to clinch the doubles point.
 
No. 2 duo Fabian Penzkofer and Elias Weeks were on the verge of victory themselves, leading 5-3 before their match was left unfinished.
 
Both No. 1 Leischner (7-5, 6-0) and No. 6 Castaneda (6-0, 6-1) won a set without losing a game, while Davis won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2.
 
No. 3 Penzkofer (6-4, 6-1) and No. 4 Andrew Suver (6-4, 6-1) also won sets while only losing a single game.
 
David Strassburger completed the clean sweep for PLNU with a 6-3, 6-2 victory at No. 5.
 
Point Loma (6-1 overall), winners of four-straight matches, has a quick turnaround before facing off against Hawaii Pacific in La Mirada on Wednesday at noon.
