(IRVINE, Calif.) PLNU Volleyball maintained its perfect start to conference play with a four-set victory (25-20, 25-19, 20-25, 25-20) over Concordia on Saturday night.
The Sea Lions improved to 6-0 in the PacWest for the second-straight season.

Point Loma trailed for most of the first set, trailing 15-18, before scoring 10 of the final 12 points to take the opening stanza.
Abigail Nua served a pair of aces as part of a 3-0 run that gave the Sea Lions the lead.

With the score then tied at 20-20, PLNU scored the final five points of the set, with a combined block from
Anna Massari and
Grace Hicks sparking Point Loma's late-set surge.

The Sea Lions then utilized a 5-1 start to the second set to put the hosts on the brink with a two-set-to-none advantage.

The Golden Eagles were able to get a set back in the third to prolong the match, only for Point Loma to thwart CUI's comeback bid by winning the fourth set.

Massari, last week's PacWest Defender of the Week, led PLNU with 13 kills and five blocks.

Abigail Nua (11 kills, 12 digs) and
Sophia Baugh (20 assists, 13 digs) both posted double-doubles and were two of four Sea Lions with double-digit digs, led by
Macy Reynolds' 15.

Hicks (seven kills) tied Massari with five blocks, while PacWest Player of the Week
Torina Hommes nearly reached double-digit kills with her nine.

Point Loma (9-4 overall, 6-0 PacWest) returns home to Golden Gymnasium on Tuesday to take on Azusa Pacific at 6 p.m.
