(SAN DIEGO) PLNU Women's Soccer placed six players on the D2CCA All-West Region Team, tying its 2018 squad for its most D2CCA All-West Region selections in a single season in program history.

Emma Thrapp leads the way with her fourth career All-Region honor, while forward
Alana Diaz earns her third and defender
Naomi Ellis her second.

Thrapp, the back-to-back PacWest Defender of the Year, has anchored a backline that also features Ellis and Crockett. PLNU's defense, with Pinnell in goal, has kept 12 shutouts this season while only allowing 0.55 goals per game.

Diaz leads the team this year with eight goals and seven assists, while Arabe (seven goals, six assists) has scored or assisted in seven straight games.
Thrapp (First Team) also leads a quintet of Sea Lions who earned United Soccer Coaches All-West Region honors, with Ellis, Pinnell, Arabe and Diaz all receiving Second Team recognition.

Point Loma (17-2-1 overall) plays at Cal Poly Pomona (18-1-2) on Saturday at 1 p.m. in the West Regional championship game.
