(SURPRISE, Ariz.) PLNU Women's Tennis tied its best-ever finish at the PacWest Championships by beating Concordia 4-1 in the Third Place Match on Saturday afternoon.

After CUI took the first doubles match to finish,
Arianna Audelo and
Thelma Sepulveda won 6-2 at No. 1, leaving the doubles point up to the result at No. 3.

Anna Pallencaoe and
Jazlyn Miyamura came through for the Sea Lions, putting Point Loma up 1-0 in the match after Pallencaoe's forehand volley winner at the net.

Pallencaoe then claimed the first singles match to finish, winning 6-4, 6-1 at No. 5.

After the Golden Eagles won the next singles match to be completed, Audelo picked up a 6-2, 7-6 (7-5) victory at No. 2. She broke her opponent's serve to force a second-set tiebreak, which she trailed in 3-5 before winning the final four points.

Quin Brady closed out the team victory with her 6-4, 6-3 triumph at No. 4.

She trailed in the first set, 2-3, before a break of serve helped her take the lead at 4-3. Then while leading 4-3 in the second set, she earned another break and then held serve to win her 17th-straight singles match.

Point Loma (17-4 overall) will now wait to hear its name called during the NCAA Selection Show as one of the top-four seeds in the NCAA West Regional, set to take place on May 10.
