(LA MIRADA, Calif.) No. 21 PLNU Men's Basketball extended its lead atop the PacWest standings with a 76-70 comeback win at second-placed Biola on Thursday night.

Zackry Paulsen scored 29 points for the second straight game, as Point Loma now leads the conference by three games in the loss column with 11 to play.

PLNU improved to 8-1 in the PacWest, while every other PacWest team has at least four conference losses.

The Sea Lions led by four at halftime and then by seven following
Jaden Matingou's 3-pointer at the 13:37 mark in the second half.

The Eagles responded with an 11-0 run to take the lead, only for Paulsen to take over late.

Paulsen scored six straight PLNU points in the final couple minutes, to go along with a crucial defensive steal, as the senior guard put the finishing touches on a second straight dominating performance.

Over the past two games, Paulsen has raised his scoring average 1.5 points up to a team-leading 15.7 points per game.
