(SAN DIEGO) No. 8 PLNU Men's Basketball tied a season high with 14 3-pointers made, as Point Loma rolled to a 76-54 victory over Azusa Pacific on Wednesday night in Golden Gym.

Tyce Paulsen led all scorers with 28 points, as his eight 3-pointers are the fifth-most in a single game in program history.

Luke Haupt (17 points) and
Andrew Hommes (10 points) joined Paulsen in double figures for the Sea Lions.

Paulsen scored 14 straight PLNU points in the second half, going on a personal 14-2 run, as Point Loma doubled up APU's score at 60-30.

Hommes' triple then extended the Sea Lions' lead to as many as 34 with 7:56 remaining, with the final score not indicative of just how dominant Point Loma was on the night.

PLNU held APU to just 32.3% shooting for the game, including just 10.5% from behind the arc.

The Sea Lions also outscored the Cougars in fastbreak points, 22-7.

Point Loma (19-4 overall, 12-1 PacWest), winners of nine straight, now hits the road to play at Jessup on Saturday. Tip-off in Rocklin is scheduled for 2 p.m.
