(SAN DIEGO) For the first time since 2018, PLNU Women's Cross Country is nationally ranked.
Coming off its impressive sixth-place finish at the NCAA West Regional on Saturday, Point Loma is ranked No. 30 in the USTFCCCA National Coaches' Poll, as announced on Wednesday.
PLNU's sixth-place finish at the regional is its best since 2018, which followed up its runner-up placement at the PacWest Championships.
Point Loma was receiving votes in the USTFCCCA Poll earlier this season.
Maddie Reeves will represent Point Loma at the NCAA Championships as an individual qualifier after her fourth-place finish at the NCAA West Regional, the best-ever by a Sea Lion in program history.
She is PLNU's first individual qualifier for the national meet since Hannah Benoit Bucher in 2017.
The NCAA Championships will take place on Nov. 22 in Kenosha, Wisconsin at the Wayne E. Dannehl XC Course.
