NCAA TOURNAMENT BRACKET
(SAN DIEGO) For the second time ever and first time since 2017, PLNU Men's Soccer will host an NCAA postseason game.
Point Loma was announced on Monday as the No. 3 seed in the NCAA Super Region 4 Tournament and will host No. 6 seed Cal State San Bernardino in the second round on Saturday.
Kickoff on the PLNU Soccer Field is scheduled for 1 p.m.
Point Loma earned the PacWest's automatic berth into the NCAA postseason after winning the conference tournament on Saturday with a 4-1 victory over Hawai'i Hilo.
PLNU, which also won the PacWest regular season title, is making its third-straight NCAA postseason appearance and fourth overall.
CSUSB finished fourth in the CCAA regular season standings before falling in penalties in the CCAA Tournament first round to eventual runner-up Cal State San Marcos.
The Yotes beat the Sea Lions, 2-1, in the season opener for both teams back on Sep. 4, with the game also being played on the PLNU Soccer Field.
The winner between Point Loma and CSUSB will advance to play either No. 2 seed Cal State Dominguez Hills, No. 7 seed Cal State LA or No. 10 seed UCCS on Nov. 29 in the third round.
