PLNU FINDS A WAY TO WIN ON THE ROAD AT BIOLA

(LA MIRADA, Calif.) No. 10 PLNU Men's Basketball found a way to beat Biola on the road, 74-70, on Wednesday night to continue its unbeaten start to PacWest play.

Point Loma won its third-straight game away from home to open its conference schedule, overcoming a 1-for-18 start from 3-point range against BU.

Crucially, the Sea Lions made their next two attempts from behind the arc, with James Nobles tying the game at 54 and Tyce Paulsen putting the visitors in front for good at the 6:34 mark in the second half.

A pair of Paulsen free throws in the final minute put PLNU up by as many as seven points down the stretch, before Jaden Matingou made it a two-possession game at the charity stripe with just two seconds remaining.

Andrew Nagy posted a double-double of 18 points and 13 rebounds, while he was joined in double figures by Matingou (15 points) and Paulsen (14 points).

PLNU outrebounded BU, 50-37, while outscoring the Eagles in fastbreak points (19-13) and bench points (12-6).

Point Loma (8-1 overall, 3-0 PacWest) returns to Golden Gym for the first time in PacWest play on Saturday to take on Dominican at 4 p.m.
