(CLAREMONT, Calif.) PLNU Men's Tennis took down powerhouse Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, ranked No. 2 in NCAA Division III, on the road Friday by a 4-3 margin.

Point Loma won the doubles point with victories at No. 2 and No. 3, which proved to be crucial in the Sea Lions' one-point team win.

Nabeel Khan and
Niclas Goltz combined to win 6-3 on Court No. 3, which set up a winner-take-all finish on Court No. 2, with
Andrew Suver and
David Fisinger coming away with a 7-5 victory.

Finn Kirschner rolled to a 6-0, 6-1 triumph at No. 6 singles, before Goltz won a three-setter at No. 3 (6-3, 3-6, 6-1).

Fisinger then sealed the victory with his 7-6, 6-4 win at No. 5.
