(SAN DIEGO) PLNU Men's Tennis rolled to a 7-0 win over Jessup on Thursday afternoon in Point Loma's home opener and in the first ever meeting between the two teams.

ITA West Regional doubles runner-up
Andrew Suver and
David Fisinger didn't drop a game in their 6-0 victory at No. 2 doubles.

Alexander Leischner and
Elias Weeks won 6-2 at No. 1 to clinch the doubles point for the Sea Lions, while the No. 3 doubles pairing of
Nabeel Khan and
Niclas Goltz were leading 5-3 before their match was left unfinished.
Point Loma then captured all six singles matches in straight sets, with
Finn Kirschner winning every game on his way to a 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 6.

After not losing a game in doubles, Goltz nearly matched that in singles, claiming a 6-0, 6-1 triumph at No. 3.

Khan won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 4, with Suver (6-3, 6-0 at No. 2), Fisinger (6-1, 6-3 at No. 5) and Leischner (6-2, 6-2 at No. 1) also winning their singles matches.

Point Loma (2-0 overall) returns to the PLNU Tennis Courts on Saturday to take on No. 10 Azusa Pacific at 2 p.m.
