Arianna Audelo won both her doubles and singles matches on Saturday, but it wasn't enough for PLNU Women's Tennis against No. 21 Azusa Pacific, as the Cougars prevailed over the Sea Lions by a 5-2 margin in a rematch of last year's NCAA West Regional.

West Region doubles champion Audelo and
Quin Brady won their doubles matchup at No. 1, 6-3, only for the Cougars to win the other two matches by narrow 6-4 and 7-5 margins.

APU carried that momentum into singles, winning four of the six singles matches.

Audelo won her match at No. 2, overcoming a 1-6 first set loss to win the next two sets 6-3 and 6-1.

Emely Valencia was the other Sea Lion to win in singles, doing so 6-3, 6-4 at No. 5.

After the overall match had been decided,
Antonia Barth forced a super tiebreak at No. 4.

Point Loma (1-1 overall) returns to the PLNU Tennis Courts on Monday, when the Sea Lions host Cal State LA at 2 p.m.
