(SAN DIEGO) Coming off a second Sweet 16 appearance in three seasons, PLNU Men's Basketball has added to its roster ahead of the 2025-26 season.
Â
Point Loma signed guard James Nobles and forward Caden Harris, joining previously announced signee Judson Loe, as the Sea Lions look to make another deep postseason run next season.

Â
Nobles is a graduate transfer from Sonoma State, where he was the team's leading scorer in 2024-25, averaging 13.7 points per game on 47.1% shooting.
Â
Prior to his two seasons at Sonoma State, Nobles spent two years at NCAA Division I Loyola Marymount.
Â
"James is a versatile guard that can impact the game in a variety of ways," Head Coach
Justin Downer said. "He has elite athleticism and plays with a steadiness that is hard to find. He will make a huge impact on our program, and will provide stability on the floor and in the locker room."

Â
Harris transfers to Point Loma from Chico State with two years of eligibility remaining. After redshirting his first season at Chico, he played the last two years on teams that competed in the NCAA West Regional.
Â
That includes in 2024-25 when he averaged 11.0 points and 4.7 rebounds per game. He shot 46.3% from the field and 37.4% from 3-point range for the Wildcats.
Â
"Caden fits Point Loma like a glove," Downer said. "His ability to pass, dribble and shoot allows him to play multiple positions and put the defense in tough matchups. His best basketball is ahead of him, and I couldn't be more excited to grow with him on a daily basis."
Â
Â

Â
Point Loma has won four straight PacWest championships, including in each of Coach Downer's first two seasons at the helm.
