(FRESNO, Calif.) No. 2 seed Point Loma will play an elimination game against No. 3 seed Hawai'i Pacific on Thursday night at 7:15 p.m. after losing to No. 1 seed Westmont, 15-3, on Thursday evening.

Westmont jumped out to a 4-0 lead with no outs in the first before adding six runs in the fourth to go up 10-0.

The Sea Lions added two more in the sixth, scoring on a wild pitch and a
Tommy Molina RBI-single, before tacking on another in the ninth.

Kenny Esposito threw 5.2 valuable innings of relief to help save the Sea Lions' pitching entering a conference tournament elimination game, pitching a shutout eighth and ninth frames.

The winner between Point Loma (37-15 overall) and Hawai'i Pacific (31-21) will advance to the PacWest Championship Round against Westmont (40-12) on Friday at noon, with an if necessary game to follow, while the loser will be eliminated from the tournament.
