(SAN DIEGO) PLNU Women's Basketball center Eiley Tippins was named PacWest Player of the Week after leading Point Loma to a pair of wins over Jessup and Concordia.
 
Tippins averaged 17.0 points and 5.5 rebounds per game in the two victories, leading the team in scoring in both games.

On Thursday against Jessup, she scored 16 points on a nearly perfect 7-for-8 shooting, before following that up on Saturday at Concordia with 18 points on 8-for-11 from the field.
 
She was instrumental in helping the Sea Lions outscore those two opponents in the paint by a combined 34 points.
 
On the season, the two-time All-PacWest player is averaging 12.4 points and 5.4 rebounds per game.

Point Loma (11-4 overall, 7-2 PacWest) returns to Golden Gym on Tuesday when PLNU hosts Biola at 5:30 p.m.
