(SAN DIEGO) PLNU Men's Basketball is proud to announce Gonzaga Assistant Coach and three-time bestselling author R-Jay Barsh as its guest speaker for its Fourth Annual Tip-Off Dinner on Oct. 30.
In three years at Gonzaga, Barsh's Bulldogs have posted a 78-21 record and have won two West Coast Conference regular season and tournament championships. Gonzaga has reached at least the second round of the NCAA Tournament in each of those seasons, including the Sweet 16 in 2023-24.
Prior to his time at Gonzaga, Barsh served as Assistant Coach at Boise State for three successful seasons. In 2021-22, Barsh helped the Broncos win the Mountain West regular season and tournament titles, while setting program records for most overall wins and conference victories.

He also led Southeastern to its first ever Sun Conference Tournament title.
Barsh, a former Don Meyer National Coach of the Year finalist, has earned several coaching awards throughout his career, including being named one of the 100 Most Impactful Men's Mid-Major Assistants/GM's and earning the Silver Waves Media Elite 75 award.
He has coached several star-studded student-athletes including NBA players Ryan Nembhard, who led NCAA Division I in assists, and Anton Watson. He also coached WCC Player of the Year and All-American Graham Ike.
