(SAN DIEGO) PLNU Men's Tennis picked up its first win of the 2026 season with a 6-1 triumph over Westmont on Saturday afternoon.

Point Loma went up 1-0 by virtue of winning the doubles point, as
Finn Kirschner/
Stanislas Noel (No. 1, 6-3) and
Darius Moinian/
Rhyson Chiang (No. 3, 6-2) won their doubles matches.

The Sea Lions then won on five of the six singles courts, with four of those coming in straight sets.

Kirschner dominated at No. 2 singles, winning 6-2 in both of his sets, while Chiang (No. 3, 6-2, 6-3), Moinian (No. 6, 7-6, 6-3) and
David Fisinger (No. 3, 6-4, 6-4) also prevailed in straight sets.

Noel won at No. 1 in a super tiebreak, 10-8, after dropping the first set 5-7 before winning the second 6-3.

Fisinger remained unbeaten in singles on the season with his 6-4, 6-4 victory at No. 3, after he previously picked up PLNU's lone points in previous losses to Azusa Pacific and Claremont-Mudd Scripps with straight-set singles victories.
