(SAN DIEGO) PLNU Men's Tennis battled Pomona-Pitzer valiantly on Thursday afternoon before the Sagehens came away with a 5-2 victory over the Sea Lions.

Forced to play with five players because of various injuries, Point Loma trailed 0-2 after splitting the two doubles matches played and conceding No. 6 singles.

Stanislas Noel and
Finn Kirschner won at No. 1 doubles, 6-4, after Noel's volley at the net earned a break for PLNU's top doubles duo at 4-4 before the Sea Lions held serve.

The visitors then edged the hosts, 3-2, in the five singles matches that were played.

David Fisinger (6-1, 6-2) and Kirschner (6-2, 6-3) won their singles matches for the Sea Lions at No. 3 and No. 2 respectively.

Point Loma (1-5 overall) has some time to get healthy before its next match on March 13 against Stanton at 2 p.m.
