Otto Landrum
San Diego local Otto Landrum has signed with PLNU Men's Basketball ahead of the 2026-27 season.

LANDRUM RETURNS HOME TO FINISH CAREER AT THE POINT

4/24/2026 9:53:00 AM

(SAN DIEGO) PLNU Men's Basketball has announced the signing of Boston University graduate transfer forward Otto Landrum ahead of the 2026-27 season.

Landrum returns home to San Diego where he starred at Torrey Pines High School before spending the last four seasons at NCAA Division I Boston.

"It is to our fortune that we get the opportunity to have Otto finish his career in his hometown," Head Coach Justin Downer said. "Otto brings energy into every room he walks into and makes others around him better everywhere he goes."

At Boston, Landrum played in 77 games across three seasons before missing last year because of injury. In 2023-24 he started 30 out of 33 games played, averaging 8.5 points and 5.3 rebounds per game.

That came after a star-studded career at Torrey Pines, where he was named North County Coastal League Player of the Year in 2021-22. He averaged 19 points and 11 rebounds per game on his way to All-CIF First Team and All-State Second Team honors.

He also earned All-CIF Second Team honors the year prior, with his team finishing as state runner-up.

"We are thrilled about his combination of size, skill, and basketball IQ to pair with an already talented front court," Downer said. "We look forward to helping Otto maximize his development here at The Point and can't wait to have him home in Golden Gym."

Point Loma is coming off a second-straight West Regional championship game appearance and its fifth straight PacWest regular season title.
