(PUEBLO, Colo.) PLNU Women's Golf is back in the NCAA postseason.
Point Loma was announced on Sunday night as one of the 18 teams that will compete in the upcoming NCAA West Regional, receiving an at-large berth after a stellar spring season.
The Sea Lions won two tournaments this spring, LA Spring Kickoff and The Big Freeze, before finishing second at the PacWest Championships.
PLNU, ranked No. 31 in NCAA Division II in the Clippd Scoreboard rankings, received votes in multiple editions of the Mizuno WGCA Division II Coaches Poll and earned PacWest Conference Team of the Week honors on five occasions.
Point Loma is making its fourth overall appearance at the NCAA West Regional and first since 2022-23, being listed as the No. 10 seeded team in this year's field.
The NCAA West Regional will take place May 4-6 at Pueblo CC in Pueblo, Colorado.
The top-five teams and the top two individuals from a non-advancing team will earn a spot in the NCAA Championships, set for May 12-16 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
