(HONOLULU) PLNU Men's Tennis will enter its regular season finale on the backs of two-straight victories to close out its trip to Hawai'i, including a 4-1 neutral-site win over Colorado Mesa on Monday.

After the Mavericks won the doubles point, Point Loma responded by winning all four singles matches to finish. The Sea Lions were also leading in the two singles matches left unfinished.

All four singles points were won in straight sets, with
Finn Kirschner tying the match at 1-1 with his 6-1, 6-3 victory at No. 3.

Marcos Alogo-Piqueras then put PLNU in front with a 6-3, 6-3 win at No. 4.

Leo Bormann (No. 5 – 6-2, 6-3) and
Rhyson Chiang (No. 6 – 7-5, 6-2) then clinched the team victory.

David Fisinger was one point away from winning at No. 2 (4-6, 6-1, 5-3) while
Stanislas Noel (3-6, 6-3, 2-0) was also leading at No. 1 singles when the match concluded.

Point Loma (6-10 overall) will seek its first three-match winning streak of the season when PLNU travels to play at Westmont on Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
