(SAN DIEGO) PLNU Men's and Women's Tennis both had stellar seasons on the courts and in the classroom this past year.

Both Point Loma Tennis squads earned the ITA All-Academic Team Award for achieving at least a 3.2 team GPA in the classroom, which followed up their tremendous accomplishments in competition.

Men's Tennis posted the highest GPA (3.89) of any PacWest team in any sport in 2025-26, while Women's Tennis recorded the best GPA (3.87) amongst all PacWest women's teams.

Marcos Alogo-Piqueras,
Finn Kirschner,
Rhyson Chiang,
Paul Sobich,
Leo Bormann,
David Fisinger and
Darius Moinian all earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors.

For the women, Alina Kuper,
Zoe Moley,
Perla Conde Vendrell,
Anna Pallencaoe and
Melissa Zirkle also received ITA Scholar-Athlete recognition.

To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, student-athletes must have a minimum 3.5 GPA for the last school year.

Both PLNU Tennis team played in the NCAA postseason, with Women's Tennis reaching the NCAA Championships Round of 16 for the second consecutive year and making a fifth straight NCAA West Regional appearance. Men's Tennis competed in a fourth straight regional.

Both teams' NCAA West Regional streaks are the longest in program history.
