(SANTA BARBARA, Calif.) No. 13 PLNU Volleyball swept Westmont on the road in three sets (25-15, 25-14, 25-22) for its first PacWest win of the season.
 
Point Loma won the first two sets by double digits for the first time this year, hitting .382 as a team in the opening stanza before going on multiple 5-0 runs in the second.
 
PLNU held Westmont to a -0.056 attack % in the second set, as the Sea Lions limited the Warriors to just a .092 hitting % in the match, the lowest a Point Loma opponent has hit in a match this season.
 
Westmont then led 19-17 in the third before a 4-0 Sea Lions stretch, bookended by Ila Rose and Hailey Clark kills, that sealed the sweep for the visitors.
 
Clark and Gianna Callari led the team with eight kills each, with Sophia Baugh pitching in with 33 assists.
 
Rose served up three aces and had three blocks, only being surpassed by Clark's and Kyra Miles' four blocks apiece. Kira Federico led the match with 15 digs.
 
Point Loma (5-3 overall, 1-1 PacWest) returns home to Golden Gym on Wednesday and Thursday to host Hawai'i Pacific and Chaminade on consecutive nights. First serve in both matches is scheduled for 6 p.m.
