(SEATTLE) No. 4 PLNU Men's Soccer concluded its trip to the Pacific Northwest with a narrow 1-0 defeat at No. 10 Seattle Pacific in a top-10 matchup that lived up to the hype.

Point Loma outshot SPU 16-14 overall, including 10-7 in the first half when neither team was able to break the deadlock in a scoreless first 45.

The Sea Lions forced the Falcons to make three saves in the first half, with
Matthew Vogel,
Cole Friesen and
Evan Youngflesh all putting shots on target.

Friesen forced another save in the second half with the game still scoreless, until SPU capitalized on a penalty kick opportunity with seven minutes remaining to score the only goal of the game.
