AS A JUNIOR (2012):
Went 2-3 with a 3.23 earned run average in 15 appearances…Struck out 27 batters in 30.2 innings…Pitched a complete game in his only start of the season…Had a streak of six consecutive scoreless appearances spanning 9.1 innings…Had a strikeout in 13 of 15 appearances…Had a season-best five strikeouts against Azusa Pacific.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2011):
Appeared in 19 games as a reliever, tossing 38.2 frames… posted a 2-2 record with one save and a 3.26 ERA… fanned 29 batters while issuing just seven walks… three scoreless innings versus Oregon Tech on Feb. 5… four shutout frames at Westmont on April 16.

AS A FRESHMAN (2010):
Threw 26.2 innings over 16 appearances as team’s closer… finished with a 1-0 record and 2.70 ERA… the lefty reliever recorded five saves and struck out 18 while only walking three batters… allowed just eight earned runs during his debut season.

PRIOR TO PLNU:
Graduated from Chaparral high school where he played baseball for four years, three on varsity… coached by David Barrett… awarded three varsity letters, scholar athlete, team pitcher of the year and team captain... best high school season was senior year where he played in 25 games, had five RBI’s and a record of 6-1… also played water polo.

PERSONAL:
Born in San Dimas, Calif…Parents are Renee and David…Has one sister, Sarah…Dad, David, and uncle both played college baseball…Lists hobbies as going to the beach and eating… plays the guitar and enjoys the band Relient K… came to PLNU for baseball, the location, great education, and the Christian campus… an Exercise Science major who would like to play baseball or become a physical therapist.
