Biography
AS A JUNIOR (2012):
Helped the PLNU 4x400m relay team take sixth in the event at the GSAC Championships…Also competed in the 200m and 400m dashes at the GSAC Championships…Posted a personal best time of 27.25 in the 200m at the GSACs…Posted a career-best time of 1:01.26 in the 400m at the Pomona-Pitzer Invite.
PRIOR TO PLNU:
Jessica returns to Point Loma as a graduate student… was a four-year starter (2000-05) and standout for the university basketball team where she earned numerous accolades including team MVP, All-GSAC and NAIA All-American… when she stopped playing she was in the record books in many places including first in steals (525) and second all-time in career points (1919)… competed for PLNU track for a couple seasons… prepped at San Diego HS for Coach Marlon Wells where she was an all-league and all-academic standout in basketball and volleyball.
PERSONAL:
Born in Boston… mom is Sonia, siblings are Sonia and Mario… graduated in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in media & communications… working on her master’s degree in education in counseling and guidance.
