AS A FRESHMAN (2011-12)
Came off the bench for PLNU in 24 games..Averaged 3.3 points and 2.2 rebounds…Posted 11 blocks…Scored a career-high 18 points in the third game of the season against Arizona Christian…Grabbed a season-best six rebounds in the season finale at Vanguard.

PRIOR TO PLNU
Spent three seasons playing at Mira Costa HS for Coach Craig Takahashi… earned first and second team All-Bay League status… averaged 12 points, seven rebounds, two steals and a one block per game… once had 21 points, 15 boards against St. Bernard’s, which helped the Mustangs to an unexpected win… member of honor roll, California Scholarship Federation and Venture Scholar… team was two-time Bay League champions and also a runner up.

Born in Los Angeles…Bio-Chem major…Rarents are Darrell and Lola…Has one sibling, Jaylah… Comes from an athletic family, father played college basketball at East Texas State and mother ran track at Cal State Northridge… Joelle likes singing and dancing, poetry, family and God… said PLNU chose her.
