Biography
As a Sophomore (2010)
Solid soph season… tallied 229 kills, with a .136 hitting percentage… 73 digs, 42 total blocks, 10 assists and four aces… seven times went into double-digits for winners… best was 13 kills and that happened three times: Nov. 2 against Hope International, Nov. 13 versus Biola and Dec. 3 against Embry-Riddle (Fla.) -- the latter took place at the NAIA National Championships.
As a Freshman (2009)
Made herself comfortable with contributing to PLNU success her freshman year…appeared in all 35 matches for the 2009 Sea Lions…helped block 37 balls…had 65 digs while also performing offensively with 343 kills…season high kill mark of 21 winners came against Cal Baptist on 10/20.
Prior to PLNU
Competed for two years of varsity volleyball for head coach Steve Lamb… had the highest number of kills on the team her senior year… named the Union Tribune Athlete of the Week… helped her club team SDVBC finish second in the Phoenix Volleyball Festival in 2009.
Personal
Born August 12, 1991 in Visalia, Calif… daughter of Nancy and Eric… hometown is Poway, Calif… the eldest of four, her siblings are Torrey, Christopher and Mitchell… mother played volleyball in college in Kentucky… Maddie an exercise science major and wants to be a physical therapist when she graduates… enjoys going to the beach and listening to music.
