Biography
As a Junior (2011)
Participated in 17 matches, making seven starts… notched 341 assists, 69 digs, 23 kills, 10 service aces and six blocks… had nine kills against Westmont on Sept 16… had 42 assists with four aces on Sept. 2 against Kansas Wesleyan… tallied 26 assists and a season-best five kills at the NAIA National Championships against Lewis-Clark State.
As a Sophomore (2010)
Another good year at setter with 625 assists and 185 digs to her credit… also had 40 kills and 29 aces… hit .212 for the season… in 35 matches she had at least 10 assists in all but four… 12 times had 20 or more assists with 30 at Azusa Pacific on Sept. 18 and 31 against San Diego Christian on Sept. 21… 2010 best 13 digs on Oct. 5 at Vanguard.
As a Freshman (2009)
Took no time contributing to the Sea Lions program…made 313 assists …distributed 21 serving aces…also a strong defensive player making 98 digs…had a season best performance against Azusa Pacific with 26 assists, two aces, and 10 digs.
Prior to PLNU
Played four years as DS, OPP and Setter at Santa Margarita Catholic High School for head coach Christy Chapman-Unrig… received three varsity letters… named to the all-tournament team at the Redondo Ponder Classic, first-team All-CIF and first-team all-league… SMCHS Athlete of the year for 2009… marked 41 assists in one match versus Long Beach Wilson… named to the all-tournament team in the 2009 Junior Olympics in Miami... also member of ASB and campus ministry.
Personal
Born January 14, 1991 in Laguna Beach, Calif... grew up in Laguna Niguel… daughter of Pam and John… plays guitar and enjoys surfing, wakeboarding, snowboarding, painting, beach volleyball and hanging out with friends… the business management major came to PLNU for faith community, the ocean and the volleyball program.
