Biography
As a Sophomore (2009-10)
Another solid campaign despite missing most of the first two months with injury… tallied 128 points, 106 rebounds, 16 assists, 16 steals and 14 blocks… averaged 5.8 points and 4.8 boards in 22 games played… started five contests… shot .465 (47-101) from the field and .667 (30-45) from the stripe... scored 12 points on two occasions: 1/20 versus California Baptist and 2/13 at Azusa Pacific… twelve boards on 2/27 versus The Master’s.
As a Freshman (2008-09)
Exceptional first college year… started in all 31 games she played in… scored 328 points (10.6 ppg) with 215 rebounds (6.9 rpg)… made 131-228 shots from the field (.575) and was good on 61-of-80 (.763) free throws... also had 39 assists, 30 steals and eight blocks… had at least 10 points in 19 games with a season-high 25 points on 11/29/08 against Westminster… double-figure boards six times with a high of 14 coming on 1/3/09 versus Hope International.
Prior to PLNU
Four seasons of varsity basketball at San Dimas High School... earned first-team All-Valle Vista League honors... averaged 17 points and nine rebounds per game... once hit a buzzer-beater to help her team defeat its rival and go on to win the league title.

Born October 9, 1989 in San Dimas, CA daughter of David and Jan... has two sisters: Chelsea and Ashley... Chelsea played basketball at Stanford... came to PLNU for spiritual, academic and athletic growth... favorite athlete is Michael Jordan... follows the Boston Celtics... favorite movie is Gladiator... likes Italian food... hobbies include music, movies and photography... Kaitlyn is a nursing major with goals of becoming a pediatric nurse.
