PLNU Athletics

AS A JUNIOR (2011-12):
Helped the Sea Lions reach No. 6 in the NAIA national rankings…Went 9-9 in singles matches…Picked up a win while playing No. 1 singles (1-0)…Went 11-6 in doubles play…Won five straight doubles matches...Was 8-3 in doubles while pairing with Jessica Kwan.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2010-11):
A doubles expert who was 15-5, mainly on court three, alongside Wileen Chiu… beat 11 GSAC teams, losing just three times… wins against ranked pairings from Concordia, Vanguard, Westmont, Lewis-Clark State, Pomona-Pitzer, Fresno Pacific and Southern Nazarene… the last coming at the NAIA National Tournament… posted a 3-0 mark in singles, beating players from The Master’s and Biola.

AS A FRESHMAN (2009-10):
Surprise starter for Coach Hills, notching a solid 14-7 mark in singles, mainly on courts 4-6 and was 18-5 as a member of PLNU’s No. 3 doubles team… was 9-3 against GSAC singles players and 10-3 versus conference doubles teams… with partner Wileen Chiu won two matches at the NAIA Tournament.

PRIOR TO PLNU:
A three-year member of the Panthers tennis team for Coach Oliver Messerli… voted Most Improved… was CIF team finalist, first-team all-league, Bay League Most Outstanding Doubles, Bay League champions and CIF doubles semifinalist.

PERSONAL:
Born in Torrance, CA… parents are Kurt and Kim… siblings are: Kurt, Katelyn, Beau and Kylie… brother Kurt was an All-American baseball player for PLNU and was drafted by the New York Mets… likes Italian food and the Dodgers… came to PLNU because both her older siblings did and because of the beautiful campus and Christian environment…Media Communications major.
