As a Junior (2010)

Started in all but one game during his junior campaign… had 86 hits in 246 at bats while only striking out 36 times… contributed 51 runs batted in while hitting a first place record tying 19 home runs and had a high hitting streak of nine games… recorded a slugging percentage of .642. In 146 plays, committed just four errors… ending the year with a .350 average... a standout game was on May 11, when the outfielder went 3-for-6 with four RBI, and two home runs against Fresno Pacific… set the record for runs scored in a single season with 67, and took second place of all-time hits in a single season… was named to All-GSAC team.

Prior to PLNU

Played four years for the Sundevils at Mount Carmel HS… coached by John Holmes and Mike Giame… honors and awards include best Defensive Player of the Year, Best Offensive Player of the Year, MVP, all-North County, All-CIF and first-team All-Palomar… spent two years playing at Mesa College under coach Kevin Hazlett… awarded Freshman Player of the Year… greatest sports thrill in college was hitting back to back homeruns against Southwestern College… most exciting baseball moment was robbing teammate Tyler Kuehl at the fence in 2007 against Rancho Bernardo High School.

Born April 4, 1989 in San Diego to Sharon and Alan… four siblings: Leon, Allen, Matt and Kristie… lists hobbies as motocross and snowboarding… favorite sports hero is Steve Finley and favorite sports teams are the Padres and Chargers... a sociology and criminal justice major whose career objectives include MLB, DEA or police department.
