PLNU Athletics

As a Sophomore (2008)
Spent 2009 abroad but competed on the 2010 track team, earning All-American status in the 4x800 meter relay… in 2008 was one of the team’s top runners… finished the season very strong… ran 18:52 at the Biola Invite, then topped that at the GSAC Championships with at time of 18:38, good for second on the team… was the team’s top finisher at the NAIA National Championships, running a time of 18:41 and finishing 57th overall.

As a Freshman (2007)
When healthy is one of PLNU's top runners... competed in the GSAC Championships with a 5K time of 19:41... best time was at the Willamette Invite (19:32)... ran in the USD Invitational with a 4K time of 15:33, good for fourth overall.

Prior to PLNU
Competed for the Quakers for four years under coaches Jim Hennessey and Jacob Michaels... a two-time state qualifier for XC... 3rd in the state 800 race in 2007.

Born April 2, 1989 in Portland, OR... daughter to Bud and Julie... one brother: Eric... favorite movies are Empire of the Sun and Pride and Prejudice... likes strawberries, pasta, and twizzlers... favorite athlete is Steve Prefontaine and her favorite club is the Portland Trailblazers... likes singing, writing, scrapbooking, watching movies... wants to find a job that is fulfilling... admires Jesus Christ... came to PLNU for the Christian environment, the running program, and the California sun... is majoring in Spanish and journalism.
