Coach Patrick Frost Head Shot

Patrick Frost

Patrick Frost is in his third season as an assistant coach with the Point Loma men's basketball team. Frost assists in all aspects of the program including recruiting, scouting, player development, and more.
 
In his first season with the team, the Sea Lions went 24-6 record (18-4 PacWest) and made conference history by becoming the first men's basketball team to win back-to-back PacWest Tournament Championships. Point Loma was ranked multiple times during the season, rising as high as No. 16. He helped coach Darnell Robateau to PacWest Newcomer of the Year award and Kaden Anderson to All-Region honors. Frost was also instrumental in the Sea Lions posting a 3.30 team grade point average.
 
Before coming to The Point, Frost spent one season at Western Oregon and helped the Wolves earn an at-large bid in the NCAA West Regional. Prior to going to WOU, Frost spent two seasons as the Video Coordinator at the University of San Diego.
 
Frost also had stops as an assistant coach for three seasons with Logie at Whitworth University. During his time, the Pirates compiled a record of 74-12 and won three Northwest Conference Championships. Frost coached three All-Americans while at Whitworth, along with numerous all-league players. In 2016, Whitworth finished 26-2 and spent four weeks ranked as the No. 1 team in the country.
